September 23–26, 2021
Whitney Tree Service took a break from tree work for a private crew trip to northwestern Maine.
We hired a Registered Maine Guide, met him at the boat launch, and traveled by boat to an island where our camp had already been set up for us.
Over the next three days, our guide took us fly fishing throughout the area, exploring remote trout streams and some incredible country along the way. We spent our days fishing, traveling by boat, and taking in views that were very different from our normal workdays back in Vermont.
Evenings were spent around the campfire with good food and plenty of time to relax together as a crew.
It turned into an unforgettable experience and a great opportunity for team building outside of work. Trips like this gave us a chance to spend time together without the pressure of the jobsite and created memories that lasted well beyond the season.
